It is expressly understood that Eleanor Vanderlyn, Jurisprudence Legal Support Firm and its personnel are not attorneys. Our Services are provided to and under the direct supervision of a licensed attorney. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
Our Services are for informational and support purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. We cannot and will not provide any legal opinions, recommendations, or strategies. The information we provide is intended to assist a supervising attorney in their representation of their client.
No attorney-client relationship is formed by engaging our Services. Communications with the Firm are not protected by the attorney-client privilege, though we are bound by a strict duty of confidentiality.

Our fees for Services will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or fee schedule provided to you. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our Services are billed on an hourly basis. Invoices are due and payable upon receipt. Late payments may be subject to interest at a rate of 1.5% per month or the highest rate permitted by law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services for non-payment of invoices.
We understand the sensitive nature of legal matters and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information provided to us. We will not disclose any of your confidential information to any third party without your prior written consent, except as required by law.
All original work products created by the Firm in the course of providing Services to you will become your property upon receipt of full payment for the Services rendered. We retain the right to use our skills, knowledge, and experience for other clients, provided that we do not use or disclose any of your confidential information.
Eleanor Vanderlyn, Jurisprudence Legal Support Firm provides support services under the direction of a licensed attorney. The ultimate responsibility for all legal work rests with the supervising attorney. In no event shall the Firm, its owner, or its employees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our Services. Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising from our Services is limited to the total amount of fees paid by you to us for the Services in question.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eleanor Vanderlyn, Jurisprudence Legal Support Firm, its owner, and its employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our Services, your breach of these Terms, or the actions of your supervising attorney.
Either party may terminate the engagement for any reason upon written notice to the other party. Upon termination, you agree to pay for all Services rendered up to the date of termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State]. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute, it shall be submitted to mediation in [Your County], [Your State] before a mutually agreed-upon mediator. These Terms, together with any engagement letter or fee schedule provided to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eleanor Vanderlyn, Jurisprudence Legal Support Firm with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
By engaging the services of Eleanor Vanderlyn, Jurisprudence Legal Support Firm, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
